PSA for anyone who boats these people were lucky people were around but your likelihood of not being found increases dramatically if you are wearing a blue, black, green or other non-flashy colored life jacket.

I’ve saved people in the water for over 24 hrs only because of pure luck that I heard a screaming voice or whistle and even then it took me minutes to locate the people because I couldn’t see them due to coloration of their life jacket.

Life jackets should be three basic colors Fluorescent Yellow, Orange, and Red.
