Snowden could have exposed the program without betraying the country.

He chose to run to Russia instead because he's a coward.

He never intended to get stuck in Russia, that was a layover between flights and he was prevented from boarding his next one and got stuck. Russia was the last place he wanted to be (except maybe a CIA prison).

It's astounding the level of misinformation some will believe. Kind of proves him right about a lot of things.

He didn’t betray the country. He betrayed the government that’s betraying the country.

Maybe he chose Russia because that’s one of the few places where he wouldn’t end up dead.
