That’s a really messy question- because communities that enact these rules are likely to engage in other fear based behaviors, that could limit their exposure.
No one has established that aerosol transmission is a dangerous vector either. We hypothesize it’s possible - but we haven’t established it.
I’m personally very skeptical. I don’t think the aerosol component is a major risk factor. Otherwise entire families would be getting sick at once. That’s not happening.

We've got 10 gazillion vaccines and antidotes in the pipeline but no idea how the virus spreads.
We have all these precautions being mandated, but let's carve out a lil something for mayhem.
