IF the mask wearing in public works (I’m against it BTW) it’s ONLY going to slow the spread long enough to keep this a prolonged authoritarian conflict with the only ends being to influence minds come election time.
Until we achieve herd immunity we are at the whims and mercy of an uneducated oppressive Karen-esque populace and their same team tyrannous political overlords.

Additionally, I’m sitting in a public setting currently outside a store that is enforcing a mask policy watching people pull cloth masks out of their purses for them and their children and then when they leave placing them back in their purses.
IF these these are collecting/filtering any viral particles people are simply collecting them and placing them amongst their personal artifacts to then encourage the spread...
