Let me wrap my head around this. Dale Brown despises the NCAA but leaked some disruptive information to Dick Vitale, the knighter in chief for Bobby Knight, that would hurt LSU. hmmph.

So the hate for Will Wade has conquered Daddy Dale's hate for the NCAA? What is the relationship with Dale and Culotta like? I do not know the answer to that.

At any rate, Culotta added fuel to Dick Vitale's stumping against Will Wade.

LSU finally has a good basketball coach and folks are doing there level best to ruin that.

It saddens me.

If Dale Brown is the mole, and I am leaning towards believing it, the hypocrisy would be astounding.

He cheated and fought the ncaa his whole career, to the point of tanking the program he built. No doubt he's bitter over it. This would be strictly about backstabbing WW, not about compliance or looking out for the program.

There has always seemed to be a beef between Dale and WW. Im assuming Dale didn't want WW here, and WW probably gave him the cold shoulder once he got here. (compare to how he treats John Brady). This seems like an extreme response just for not being put on a pedestal by the new coach, but these guys do have egos and thin skin so there might be something to it. Maybe more behind the scenes.

These are the facts we do know:
Dale and Vitale are close.
Dale and WW are not at all.
Vitale has been leaking info (true or false, who knows at this point) at the most inopportune times to undermine WW's recruiting.
Vitale has shown a curious dislike for WW personally, not against the LSU program, meanwhile overlooking other coaches who are accused of much worse, and with more proof.
Vitale has hinted that his "source" is around the LSU program and goes back 40 years.
