I'm with you. I think a terrible precedent is being set in how we handle other ailments in peak seasons.

The thing I also go back to is this...think about flu season and you're at the pharmacy picking up meds...we've all be in line with that person who just looks awful. They are coughing, red-eyed, and red-nosed with a ball of tissue in their hand picking up their Tamiflu or something.

What have we normally done in that situation...? Nothing. We live life. We maybe wash our hands a little more but ultimately we don't do much or even give it a second thought.

Now you've caused this mass hysteria and I fear there is no turning back. Are we going to get shut down every winter? When did we become so scared as a society?

And don't tell me about the flu shot...majority of people don't get it or many people still get the flu despite having the shot.

Never could you be more wrong. I'm not here to debate the usefulness of a flu shot, but everyone is urged to get one. There is no vaccine available for Covid19 which is why more precaution is necessary.
