30 days before the season we cut about 25%, and burn it. Then, about 10 days before the season we disk this part and top sew wheat.


10 days before the season we cut and burn 50% and leave it.

2 days before the season we cut the remaining 25% and bale it for hay. And use those bales as shooting stations.

I guess I get to show the almost final pics that I have from 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure when I bush hog this field the game warden is going to think I have baited it. Tons of forage couldn't be happier. I will be cutting 60% of it this weekend and disc it under. On top of that I will be installing a rather long fake power line from tree to tree with 3/16 cable. Any advice on the cable?
