There is only one reasonable reaction to covid-19 or any virus. At-risk people need to protect themselves as they do for other illnesses, while everyone else, the 99.9% of us, continue a normal life. Let the virus spread as it will to achieve herd immunity. This is how viruses have always been handled, except today this virus is used ans an excuse to attack America and hurt President Trump's re-election.

I’d be fine with this, but since state Governors control the particulars and there is no national mandate, this won’t be achieved.

Insulin Dependent Diabetics will not usually be found huddled onto the candy aisle at WalMart.
People with heart/lung conditions will not be a majority registrants for long distance runs.
