That’s laughable that because you spend up to $500 for your job that you are some saint. Give me a break. You probably met that $500 back from the Christmas gifts or teacher appreciation gifts you receive during the year.
You’re missing my point. How many kids are being abused one way or the other and it won’t get picked up because you weren’t there in person? How many kids will be scarred for life? How many kids will fall behind never to make up for lost school time? How many depressed kids with turn to self harm because they have no support system? How many kids intellectual growth will be forever stunted?
It’s all good because you spend $500 on your classroom. That kid you would typically report to appropriate authorities is still suffering abuse because you didn’t stand up to protect them.
This is the beginning of the end to these traditional public schools.

You think parents are giving teachers gifts in EBR schools
? I'd say your chances of dying of COVID is greater than your chances of getting a gift from a parent in EBR. My wife pretty much didn't get shite until she transferred to the school in our neighborhood which is full of white collar parent kids. This post was edited on 7/5/20 at 11:30 pm
