We had a huge blowup today, one of the guys always bumps his ball every time. If he hits a ball in the rough and has a bad lie, he will pick his ball up under the pretense of identifying his ball and of course he always gives himself a better lie.

This morning on the first tee, we said play it down (for his benefit), two holes later he was bumping his ball. 2 guys called him on it and the argument began.

Needless to say, it was a tense golf round and afterwards everyone just took off. I am not sure how the group goes on from here without losing a few guys.

What's amazing is the guy off the course is a great guy who will do anything for anyone and very enjoyable to be around we have been friends for years.

It's a huge deal because we always have a money game going on and some guys don't want to pay him going forward because they don't trust him right now.

Just don't get why he keeps doing what he does...

Guess that I am going to have to be the peacemaker in all of this. But the crap that he pulls has to stop.

So funny that we have an older guy here in Dullsville who is exactly the same way. He's in his late 70's but still a 2 HDCP from the gold tees. Has probably shot his age 100 times. He played golf at Vandy in the early 60's.

He's both an MTSU and Vandy booster, plays the piano at his church every time they open the doors, buys dinner for everyone almost every time, but he's the biggest cheater I've ever seen. His first name is Don. They call him Don Fudge. Everyone says it's because he's so competitive. To me, it's just lying.
