I had never heard of this before. I don't even know where to start.

Unfortunately yes, that level of poverty does still exist in Appalachia, and it is more common than most probably realize. I've seen it far too many times.

These people though... wow. Speechless. I'm from southern WV so not much surprises me, but I have so many questions and would love to know their story.

Honestly, the whole thing just made me sad for multiple reasons.
