They think Schiff should have personally briefed Trump on something that was in his PDB. Or something something.

That's not the issue. The issue is the intel gathered never moved up the chains because it couldn't be corroborated and it wasn't verified. That's why pence and trump were never briefed.
This article specifically points out it was a nothintburger that the Dems and media tried bringing into to life.
If it was as a big a deal as they are making it why didn't Schiff sound the alarm.
