Gen Mouton led a successful charge. According to reports, Yankee troops were trying to surrender and they were still being fired upon. He rode up to stop the killing. One of the Yankees picked up a musket and shot him. I would think he had more honor than the trash wanting his statue removed.

I saw some members of this group first hand. Stereotypical angry white lgbtq people fighting for racial inequality while black people walking right past them and not acknowledging what was happening.
