With all the talk about Holliday and the X man trying to make the Olympics I never heard anything about Bennie. I know he almost made the USA team on '04. Did he compete in '08, or is he still playing football?

I thought he was on the Bengals practice squad at one time. Maybe not.

I didn't think football worked out for him that is why I thought he would try track again. But I guess not.

He was drafted by the Bengals in the 7th round in '06. Don't know whats happened since.

He was on IR in '06 and the practice squad in '07. He is unsigned as of now, but still shows up in the Bengals locker room sometimes.

He was working out with Joe Addai and Ronnie Prude at the Bally's in Baton Rouge a few weeks ago.

He lives below me in my apartment complex. Not sure if he's competing or not but he was on crutches about 2 months ago!

He wasn't an alternate, but did run in the 400 meter hurdles finals.
