Since when has an active investigation stopped outrage, protests, and riots?

In one case, a citizen was murdered by a government agent on video and there was no arrest.

In one case, a citizen was (presumably) murdered by a private citizen. The investigation is (presumably) ongoing.

Do these two situations seem similar to you? Are people really under the impression the protesting would have the same effect on street level crime as it would on government action?

It's a nice talking point, but it makes zero sense from any logical perspective.

Oh, is this the first time there has been outrage over a murder? Is there only ever outrage when the government does the killing? Do you not remember what happened in Georgia just a couple weeks ago?

Honestly, the “protestors” have a better chance of curbing these types of senseless crimes than they do the ones they are “protesting” over.
