That's not what Dave Aranda said after the game. He said that although he did talk to several defensive players on defense during the game, what he said didn't work, and he blamed that on the fact that he didn't talk to the defense as a whole so everyone of them would be on the same page.

Even said he didn't understand why he did that because in the past under similar circumstance when he talked to the team as a whole, as opposed to individual defensive players, the adjustments always worked.

In any event, that is what Dave Aranda said after that game and what he blamed the piss poor play on. Claimed it was all his fault. Hence, I believe him instead of you.
