You don't rewrite history to appease those ignorant fools who protest.
You can remove these names and all of the historical statues right after we rename all roads, streets, highways, public buildings, schools, etc that are currently named after Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, Malcom X,etc. etc. etc. which will probably be after they remove the Pyramids, Cheops, the Roman Coliseum, etc. etc.
