Not really. If you had a premi then it is common protocol to limit all interactions with outside environment. Sucks but it also is a bonding experience. I delivered food an necessities to my best friend and his wife. I basically had to leave it at the door to the neonatal unit or whatever it was and then walk away. They then took everything and examamined it.
There is absolufrickinglutely nothing wrong with being extra careful bringing a new child and the new generation into this crazy as world. Sure they needed to have some bumps and bruises and colds but not until they have close to a developed immune system. We aren't cavemen.
