1. Juneteenth is the dumbest name for a holiday.
2. I actually think it would make for a good holiday if they change the name, and I am willing to give up labor day for it.
3. I am always open to new and different booze. I don't find this offensive any more than when people push Irish booze on St Paddy's, or Mexican booze on May 5th (this is a dumb holiday)

I don’t find it offensive either.

My point was, as I said, why does it feel like—overnight—we threw the switch on “Blackness,” when the US is comprised of other ethnicities as well?

Throughout much of history, nomenclature is derived through periods of illiteracy and ignorance, in which mis-spellings and poorly understood words become mainstreamed.

Negative, Ghost Rider! My birthday sometimes falls on Labor Day. However, my Dad's is June 19th; he turned 100 today!
