Wife and I had booked a vineyard outing while in Florence. We got to the tour starting location only to find out it had been cancelled, and at that point we had a free day. We decided to try to make it to Piazzale Michelangelo for the sunrise.

We walked all the way up, and were able to see the sunrise from one of the best views in the entire city. While up there, we went to San Miniato al Monte (St. Minius on the Mountain). Overall, it was one of my favorite parts of our trip, and an experience and view I'll never forget.

Driving through the French Country side on my way down to Normandy. Stop at a few small villages. Things just felt more relaxed and simple.
