I wouldn't be too nervous about pitching injuries. The only one that has me nervous is Jaden Hill. If he can stay healthy and be our Friday Ace that will be big for the season.
I would like to see them bring in a JUCO catcher. Travinski has some defensive skills but he was brought in for his bat. If Milazzo gets injured we will need a defensive catcher and it wouldn't hurt to have someone that can spell Milazzo occasionally.
We have some potential bats in the outfield, Hampton, Crews, Drost, Dugas, Gio and Bianco. The only problem there is none of them have really done it yet. I personally think there is too much competition in the outfield to bring in a JUCO.
On the infield, you have Beloso, C. Doughty that can hit and maybe Bianco or Dugas. Cranford, Arnold and Thompson are known more for defense but all of them have some hitting skills. If you could find a JUCO infielder that can really hit that would be fine by me. I don't know how many there are out there, wanting to come to LSU. Project probably has some idea.
I would think a really talented JUCO would like an opportunity to play for LSU and showcase himself to the MLB for a year.
