It was a routine thing. The family requested a mental evaluation and then this happened. Yes, he is survived by a wife.

For some reason, the police tend to put the older folks on transport duty. It was an outpatient appointment. Probably routine but the shooter decided to be a thug.
The cop was the school resource officer. Kids loved him. I bet he was also picking up some extra hours for more money. RIP. Seems like he was a good guy.
