So should sons and daughters of the Confederacy not be proud of their heritage? It’s a problem when you start erasing ancestors. I think going down that rabbit hole would lead you to some dangerous tribes in Africa. Perhaps ancestors of these African tribes (regardless of how far back we need to trace roots) should also be brought to the forefront.

Why should they? Their ancestors were treasonous and fought to preserve a pretty shitty way of life
