Not in Louisiana, only 50 cents on the dollar make it to the classroom, where the 'action takes place', it's 10 months of work,but paid for only 9 months with $40,000 salary. Bloated overstaffed/paid state and central offices that undermine discipline in the classroom, and of course public support from citizens like you.
