He just wasn't a good enough quarterback to do what he was doing.
He could've been a backup somewhere, but no one wants to deal with that headache with a backup.
My point is that it's a business decision to not sign him, not morality. Same thing goes here. Keeping this dude on Flash would hurt business.

I would have never known the difference. Now I know they willfully employed a racist for many years.
The solution will be for Elongated Man to change his shape into a black man. Sue will be happy with that change.
