This is probably what De Blasio wants them to do. That way when there are no cops to answer calls and file reports, the amount of “reported” crimes will go down. Then he will yell “LOOK I WAS RIGHT! CRIME HAS GONE DOWN SINCE THE POLICE WERE DEFUNDED”. In reality it will likely be an even bigger shite show with crime through the roof.
