I'm trying not to buy more, but this thread is really making it hard to resist. In the past, maximum fear here has always predicted bounces, but I don't see what could come that would bounce this right now. SC and Sinema got me feeling pretty damn good about the future right now though.

True. Haven't added recently or sold. I will if we see $6's. Have not heard anything new. The only thing I could see triggering a significant move up in the near future would be Lanxess JV or releasing proof of 90% or even 80% extraction rate. I wasn't overly impressed with their response to BO. Not sure if the patents still pending is affecting what they release. My biggest fear other than failure of the tech was their lack of political ties. Koch solved that.

Production at demo plant would be a huge boost. They filed for a extension with the oil and brine commission meeting to decide royalty rates until late 2022. They won't be selling any until that is set. I think they are still working things out. They have said that they are confident in their process, but never said they have achieved the levels hoped for.

Hard to say how much blame to put on Lanxess and how much on SLI. For whatever reason, Lanxess has managed to bog everything down out there, not just SLI.

December was the first time I haven't bought SLI shares in a month since May. It just seems so stagnant.

Not having much powder here is also a factor. I've been taking calculated fliers in the OTC market. Cheap way to stay active in the market and continue to learn.

I like the price if I'm buying, but can't see me buying much more till I catch up on a few things offline and reload my investment cash.

That would provide very solid confidence. They did a couple of proof of concept batches, but proving continuous production would trump that greatly.

Koch industries are heavy hitters. If they wanted they could buy the whole bine field from Lanxess and kick the whole process into high gear.

Is there any hint of what's going on with the JV agreement?
