I have not seen any threads on this. Not sure how many of you play classic vs retail but if you do throw your server/faction bellow.

Kromcrush - Horde.

It has been a good distraction since I haven’t been able to go out much. I’ve about had enough now though.

I'm on Faerlina - horde. Played way too much since launch, fortunately I'm really only raid logging now. I love to complain about how pathetic BG's are (queues + pairing PUGs up against premades) but honestly I'm glad it sucks or else I'd be on all the damn time.

Netherwind, Horde

Started a month ago and just hit 40. When I joined the server the pop was "medium" with a 50/50 split of horde/alliance. a couple of weeks later we were having 1.5 hour long queues and alliance was dominating like 70/30 after server transfers were opened up. Haven't had a queue recently though (for getting in the game)

I can't play these Grindy RPGs anymore without feeling like I'm wasting my life away

It’s only high if you intend to reach and play endgame in a very competitive sense. You can enjoy WoW plenty with a moderate time investment.

In this way it’s no different than any other hobby. Want to play the front nine with your friends and drink beer all evening? Almost no time commitment required. Want to place in the top five of your town’s local golf tournament this year? You’d better be hitting the course for hours most evenings.

Blaumeux - Alliance

Ended up here playing with a friend who I met playing during Vanilla. Weve been good friends IRL since then.

Always looking for more people to join us on the Alliance side = )

Been playing since release on Netherwind. We had an awesome server until the free xfers, recently moved my main over to Kirtonos with one of our raid teams. Actively playing both servers now. Alliance.

Kirtonos - Breaux 60 Paladin
Netherwind - Feaux 60 Mage
Netherwind - Geaux 43 Warrior

If anyone is interested in joining an established raid team with me on either server, reach out to me and I'll hook you up with a ginvite.

I played it one month at launch and got my fix, got up to level 60, ran all the dungeons at least once, got to experience the entire world with every zone being alive and full of players.

It was basically like a year's worth of original WoW condensed into a month just due to knowledge efficiency.

The old school MMORPG has its charms and I would have liked to see it evolve differently than the way it did.

WoW as it it today isn't even an MMORPG, it's really difficult to even categorize what it is. I think it exists purely off of inertia of the past than quality of the experience.
