Next time don’t play Barney Fife and follow the guy out. That’s a good way to get yourself killed over some stupid auto parts.

I understand that sentiment. And I believe it is the right move for most (especially those with families to support). But I also am tired of people getting away with blatant acts of theft and violence with little to no recourse. And then being free to repeat the same actions time and time again.

. I mean I applaud OP for trying to help catch a thief but running up to someone's window trying to take a picture is asking for it.
