I am predicting a similar QB situation that we saw last year, with Lee assuming Flynn's role and Hatch assuming Perriloux's role (with perhaps more snaps). Whatta ya think?

I think you should read the 8000 other threads about this.

Hatch seems to be getting alot of luv from the coaches these days. My guess is Hatch will start the 1st game and it will be his to lose.

I don't see the point of the 2-qb system, when both qbs possess similar strengths. I thought the point was to mix things up. Tebow and Leak - different strengths. Flynn and Perrilloux - different strengths. Both will get snaps, but only to determine the starter. JMO. Maybe that point has been made amongst the 8000, but I didn't have time to look for it...still a newbie.

I say hatch starts game one but Lee is the full time starter by the trip to Aubie with hatch running an occasional play here or there. Either way, the person who wins the job will lose it to the other in my opinion.

First of all, remember that this opinion of mine is only just that, an opinion. I respect yours and most of them on here.

I see Hatch as the starter with Lee filling the Perilloux role, not as an option/running QB, of course, but as a change of pace and to gain experience. J Lee will see plenty of time at QB.

Further, I believe that JJ will begin to see some playing time in mop-up roles after just a couple of games. I see no redshirt for him. I also think that it is a definite possibility that JJ wins the back-up or starter's role by late season. I hear that he is really impressing the team these days, and I do not think that Les can afford to redshirt him.

How did you feel during the SEC Championship game when RP had a torn and bleeding finger while Flynn was unavailable?

I actually think that the QB situation is pretty solid. We need a manager at QB more than we need a game-breaker. Manage to get the ball into the hands of play-makers where they have some space and/or some blockers. Limit turnovers.

I don't think that any QB is in position to "lose" his job. I think all three I mentioned are in position to eventually "win" the job.

All in MHO!

I believe you are correct that JJefferson will see plenty of action- he has the arm and speed- he should get plenty of looks early against the weaker nonconference opponents.
