I thought it was a horrific hire and it was on paper. I was very bitter about it and gave up my season tickets because I was certain it was a colossal blunder. Organizations that are in the top 10% of their field typically don’t hire people that have failed miserably and hope they learned from their mistakes. I’m very glad I was wrong and O has my full support now because I support LSU and anyone that is helping make it successful. If he would be sucking, I’d have my pitchfork out ready to strike. He has proven to me that he has was it takes to keep LSU near the top.

I thought his record as an interim at USC was cause for optimism though. That was a good but not great USC team talent wise that had their coach left at an airport in the middle of the season. He did a good job in less than ideal circumstances there.
