Sessions is responsible for stopping the 2013 Gang of 8 amnesty bill that Graham and Rubio were pushing. That's the same bill they were harassed for by Trump supporters during the presidential primaries.
He also stopped the 2007 John McCain - Ted Kennedy amnesty bill that Bush 43 was heavily pushing.
He did those two things with virtually no support whatsoever.
