Not here. Never will I. That’s just wrong. The cage and leash works fine.

We put our 8 yr old on adhd meds last year. We had no choice, it was suggested a year earlier and we tried everything to not do meds: change diet, extra activity, different types of therapy for kids with adhd. Nothing worked, and eventually we had too. The difference was night and day, but he still has a lot of trouble with focus, but the meds make it manageable, and he functions much better at school.

It was also suggested for his older brother, but through diet, exercise, we manage him and he is fine.

I think too many kids who are like my oldest are put on meds when it is not needed; however, there are some who absolutely need it, and when you have one you know. It is not just for convenience, but he was miserable. He knew he was not focusing and just could not control it, and it was taking a very bad toll.
