Eh I mean this evidence DOES suggest that. Strongly suggest is Debatable.

It’s a fairly large study though and it pushes through the “must start early” complaints given they excluded those started >48 hours post diagnosis.

Randomized placebo blinded trials need to be done but this is a fairly big blow and is a piece of evidence on the other side from the low level evidence championing it. Nothing definitive but certainly enough to give pause rather than taking it like candy.
