Ginny Lane - Orange Beach.... Anybody been there?

I usually hit up Ginny Lane when I'm in Orange Beach. I like it because it isn't the typical fried seafood like you find everywhere else. I can't comment on the steaks, never had one and to be honest I probably woudln't order it. I just have a hard time getting a steak at a place that isn't a steak house. They used to have a steak house in the same center as Ginny Lane. It was called Meecha's (sp?) (sounds like "Meet Ya's" as in "Nice to meet ya"). Not sure if it is still there.

items we ordered.....all were very good:

crab cream cheese app dip

broiled seafood platter
steamed snow crabs - 2 orders
filet with garlic mashe pot
filet with crabmeat and bernaise
blackened ribeye with blue cheese butter


everything was good.

one of the nicer restrnts in gulf shores area...been coming here for 20 years....spend 2 weeks a year here

Have you tried Mango's? Went there last year and was very happy with the food and service, a buddy went this may and also was very happy, especially because fine dining in O.B./Gulf Shores is sparse.
