How big will the meltdown be for the Bulldog faithful when Georgia loses a game or two and doesn't even win the east?

Will it be like the meltdown that Bama fans had last year when they realized that, regardless of who their coach is, they're still Bama. Or will they handle it like they already knew how difficult their schedule is this year and just hope for the best?

I'm going with the Bama meltdown...just because it is more fun that way.

Florida has a pretty favorable schedule this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Atlanta instead of the Bulldogs.

Aug. 30, 2008 Hawaii
Sept. 6, 2008 Miami-FL
Sept. 20, 2008 at Tennessee
Sept. 27, 2008 Ole Miss
Oct. 4, 2008 at Arkansas
Oct. 11, 2008 LSU
Oct. 25, 2008 Kentucky
Nov. 1, 2008 at Georgia
Nov. 8, 2008 at Vanderbilt
Nov. 15, 2008 South Carolina
Nov. 22, 2008 The Citadel
Nov. 29, 2008 at Florida State

They should beat Tenn; UGA is more of a challenge, but its doable.

They'll probably bitch and moan like they did last year.

On another note, if Florida can have a decent non-conference schedule, then we should be able to, too. Hawaii and Miami are respectable oponents. I know Hawaii isn't great but they are better than Troy or North Texas, and at least they'll draw some national attention.

True.

I would love to see Verge Jr reel in a Home and Home with Hawaii!!!

Gut feeling, but I'd put the Gaytors on upset alert vs. Da U. Too bad they can't both lose.

As far as UGA I'd expect the Bama type meltdown

Isn't Miami supposed to be on "rebuilding" mode this year?

That is my way of thinking too. I have multiple bets with co-workers that it will be the Gators representing the east in ATL and not the Dawgs.

I think they're more like in year 2 or 3 of their rebuilding after LSU took them behind the woodshed

Careful...I'm usually always wrong.

I just could see Florida having an easier time getting through us and UGA than UGA has getting through us and UF.

Honestly, I think they have resigned themselves to the fact that they have Florida and Tenn in the east and LSU in the west...so they are content being runner-ups. They never seem too dissapointed if they loose a game, they just want to complain and have one excuse after another for not winning.

I can't stand Florida but their schedule has to be the most difficult schedule in the country. If they get through that with 1 loss, they'll have my respect. On one hand, I wish we had a schedule like that. On the other, that looks brutal.
