You only know about this because the Media WANTED you to know about it.

If this were a white person being being murdered by a black person and local black authorities refused to bring charges, you would have NEVER heard about it.

No, that's what you are making it about. You didn't hear a peep about this case for 2 months until the video was leaked showing the cops and the DA lied.
To me this case is about a corrupt local justice system covering up a murder for one of its own and that should piss off EVERYBODY
