I've had a cheap arse Vizio on my patio for 5 years now and it's still working like the day I bought it. I don't cover it or anything.

I have a 10 year old Vizio on my porch, cover it with a lined tablecloth I had laying around that I sewed up to fit over it.

I’m sure the humidity and dust/pollen will get it eventually but it’s cheap to replace so who cares. I do bring the TV back inside if it’s going to storm really hard because I get a lot of water blown in if the wind is blowing hard, but mine is not mounted to the wall so it’s pretty easy to move around.
