Mobs of “gang members” marching down highland road looting gas stations. That was my favorite rumor.

I do remember all of the crime/gang rumors. I had forgotten about that. Like BR was Mayberry in 2004

People saying they had a hundred or two MREs after everything was over.
Oh and the story that the current gang turf war in Meridian, MS is from the gang members who bailed out of NO and decided Meridian was a good place to set up shop, so they stayed.
