i think for brennan, the key is decision making. the last few nc teams all had a qb that could hurt the defense with their feet. all of the qb's had a good sense of when to tuck and run. he's definitely got the physical tools.
brennan to me seems to be a bit like lawrence and burrow, not the greatest running athletes like hurts, murray and watson, but effective enough to get some yards when the d dictates it. he's kind of built like lawrence and looks like him when he runs.
overall, i think the pieces are in place to get brennan some easy throws. as long as he has a decent pocket awareness and doesn't try to force tough throws, he should be fine. that got tua into trouble. most of the time, his wr's bailed him out but it cost him in some really important moments.
the biggest problem with brennan's throws is throwing too hard. hopefully he can develop some touch, especially on screens.
bama was elite with mccarron and coker. i can't imagine brennan being less effective than them. he's definitely a better runner than that group and has a strong arm. brennan has exceptionally good wr's who get open and catch the ball.
i see no reason why brennan can't be as effective as 2019 lawrence. he's certainly got the surrounding cast. as long as he makes good decisions. get the ball to the skill players, avoid sacks, take what the defense gives you, make the easy throws. the pieces are all there.

BFNIII - I couldn't state it better if I tried. Perfect analysis of how Brennan needs to play this year to win another one.
