Monitoring the diners isn’t tough at 25%. There will be more workers than diners in some instances
At the restaurant level, you can already produce an excel report from the reservation apps with a click of a button that give the diner’s info. I reckon those apps are already working on a system where you provide everyone in your party’s info as well
I’m not saying it’ll work or its a good system. Hell I don’t think most restaurants will even open yet. But these protocol and procedures aren’t going away

Forgive my ignorance if this is happening in most cities. But if not, why would a major globally used app like Resy or OpenTable rewrite parts of their software for New Orleans?
