In my personal opinion unless your using it for light work, anything electronic on a 4 wheeler is bad is you’re ever going to be in a situation with mud and water.
I prefer carbureted over EFI even it means harder cold starts. Last Yamaha I owned was 2003 grizzly 660 when they first came out, I was a young teen. I put that thing through absolute hell each and every day for years on trails I made around a muddle bayou behind our house. Very little problem out of it, tough bike. Loved that thing
