Best book or guide for real estate accounting ?

My brother in law (CPA) just switched Jobs where he was in hospital accounting and now he does high end real estate accounting. Are there by good books out there that can get him up to speed with real estate accounting? The terms seem to be very different from what he tells me and he’s having to learn on the job and it’s slowing down his work efficiency

Not sure if there are any college textbooks on that but I would look for a textbook on the subject. Also see if the AICPA offers a webinar training.
