I should rephrase perhaps.

If just starting out or looking for a beater to take outdoors, the boat, or a campfire that sort of thing then by all means. However my first was a stellar Yairi that a good friend practically gave away, when he started upgrading to D28's and Golden Era's. Just to get me to play. So there was no way to go but up after starting at pretty high standard. Couple people have even asked if it's in the will?

I know Seagull likes their headstock, claim it helps with tuning... yadda yadda. But same with all my other guitars. None of them de-tune themselves or wander around. They also tend to have a wider fret board which I'm not a fan of. And yes, that's also a factor in what you're use to playing or learned on.
