None of those views you posted were taken along the interstate, which is basically river level and often shielded from any decent views by trees.

Picky, picky. Yes, I know. I used stock photos. Many of the other views posted by folks on this thread are of the area and not necessarily from their cars, as your pics were. I've driven the gorge a couple of times, and if you actually go up to the Vista House (or other lookouts) as opposed to the sign on the interstate for the exit to the Vista House (as you posted) you absolutely have views like the stock photos.

All that being said, here's my actual pic from the Vista House, along with a pic from my AirBnB across the river from INTERSTATE 84 for kicks.
