Appalachian state not on LSU's schedule

Didn't find this topic anywhere but has anyone else notice that Appalachian state wasn't on the LSU schedule for ps3's NCAA 09?
Or is it just like this on my game?

they did not include sub divison teams.(not enough space)

It begs the question if App state fans look forward to this game.

Why did they include sub division teams a couple years ago and now they take them out?
To me that's a step back not forward. I enjoyed bringing Nicholls state up from sub division and getting invited to join Div. 1 in dynasty mode and eventually turning them into a national powerhouse.

That was on the Xbox and PS2 which they could put a lot more teams on the disc because of the small space they took

I understand that but ps3 discs hold 50GB of data compared to ps2 which was like 4.7gb. Do teams really take that much space? You could give them all a generic stadium.

Yet we have the shitty Mascot game. Replace the Mascot game with the top 10 or so D1AA programs.
