Same here. Figured out I could make more money (at least at the outset) as a consultant in Oil and Gas. Of course, that's gone tits up recently...

If I could do it all again, I'd go into the medical field as a nurse or doctor. I have a tremendous amount of respect for those people, the money's good, and the job security's good. I'm sure I have a "grass is greener on the other side" view and there are serious issues with the profession that I'm not aware of, but it still seems like it beats what I currently do
