I certainly agree with moderation and restraint. However, what happens if your "crazy uncle" is suddenly appointed to a governmental office with the authority to order you to obey the crazy uncle's vision for transforming your old life into something more in accord with crazy uncle's vision?

What if that "vision" is repressive and totalitarian? Do you continue roll your eyes as you passively obey crazy uncle's orders?
