A guy who is looking to move to Kingwood would never consider Friendswood or Clear Lake. Those are so far apart.
Might as well tell him to look at Cinco Ranch or Sugar Land.
Kingwood has good schools. It is a nice, safe community with reasonable prices for housing. And it floods a lot.
For Houston the areas with good schools
Southwest: Sugar Land
Southeast: Friendswood, Clear Lake, Pearland although not as good
North: the Woodlands
Northeast: Kingwood
West: Memorial, Katy, Cinco Ranch
Inner Loop: if you are zoned to River Oaks, West University, Bellaire, and parts of Montrose.
