I was asked today for the entire pregame speech that ends "chance of rain, NEVER" and I couldn't really remember what came before that. I believe he gives the gametime temperature n such but does anyone know the entire speech?

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Tiger Stadium for the matchup between the Appalachian State Mountaineers and your Fighting Tigers from LSU. The temperature for gametime is 125 degrees with 108% humidity and the wind is blowing out of the southwest at 5 miles per hour. Chance of rain.........NEVER!

Something like that.

Here's all I can remember off the top of my head.

"""Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to tonight's Southeastern Conference football game between the Crimson Tide of Alabama, and your Fighting Tigers of LSU. I'm Dan Borne'.

For your convenience there are restrooms and concessions located thoughout the concourses of Tiger Stadium. However there is no smoking allowed inside the stadium, and alcohol is strictly prohibited.
There are first aid stations located in each level of the stadium.

LSU prides itself on being first class and gracious to everyone and asks that you kindly refrain from rude behaviour and foul language.
LSU stands for class, dignity, and pride. We ask that you treat all our fans and visitors with the respect they deserve.

For tonight's current weather conditions - The temperature is at 72 degrees, wind is out of the north at 5 mph, skies are clear.

Chance of rain........NEVER."""""

I read that and then immediately reached under my desk here at work for my flask. Wasn't there, back to reality.

After I read it I heard the tiger growl on the video screens, and visions of 92,000 fans waving their arms and screaming in anticipation of the kickoff.
Thanks CJGLSU! At least I got some of it right :)

Reading that gives me chills. I realize that this begining is probably pretty generic and something similar is said throughout the country, but I love the simple calm voice that Borne uses. I am about to shite myself with excitement as is the rest of the stadium and he just says this stuff like he is at a church meeting or something. It adds to the buildup for me.
I can never actually hear the "Ladies and gentlemen, it's Saturday Night in Death Valley, and here come YYYOOUUURRR
Fighting Tigers of LSU!" part (student section) but I know he says it and that's bad arse of course.
Then with that song playing in the background (you know the one) he reads the current weather conditions with the added "chance of rain...NEVER" at the end. The way he says NEVER always seems to give me chills. He kind of says it in a defiant kind of way. Like...It may look like it's gonna rain...you may hope it rains (wet field might negate some of our speed)...but it wont. Not here bitches.
Love it.
